Waseda University History Museum (Exhibitions)
The Waseda University History Museum is located on the 1st floor of Building 1 of the Waseda Campus. Exhibits the history, education, research, social contribution, etc. of Waseda University.

The Tsubouchi Memorial Theatre Museum
With the aid of supporters from a range of fields, The Tsubouchi Memorial Theatre Museum, Waseda University, familiarly known as “Enpaku”, was founded in October 1928 to commemorate the 70th birthday of Professor Tsubouchi Shoyo and the completion by him of the translation into Japanese of all 40 volumes of the “Complete Works of Shakespeare”, a task to which the Professor had devoted half his life. Since then, as Asia’s only museum dedicated solely to the theatre, Enpaku has been engaged in collecting works relating to the theatre and motion pictures both in Japan and all around the world.

The Waseda International House of Literature
(The Haruki Murakami Library)
The Waseda International House of Literature (WIHL) functions as a literary resource center and cultural exchange facility. As suggested by the informal name, the Haruki Murakami Library, we have all the published works of Haruki Murakami in Japanese and in translation. The wide range of related books is complemented by a collection of 3000 books (as of October 2021) that can be viewed in the facility’s reading spaces, including galleries.

Waseda Sports Museum
The sports museum was opened in March 2019. It is situated on the third floor of the Waseda Arena on Toyama Campus, located in front of the Waseda Sports Center. The exhibit consists of one room and a hallway covered in the school colors—maroon and white. The displays reveal Waseda’s athletic history through previous athletic wear (gears), images and interviews to demonstrate the importance of sports at the university. The museum commemorates the achievements of the university’s scholar-athletes and the people involved in its sports community.
